We are Paul and Sandra-Maria and have lived here for over 8 years. We live on a fermette that we have been gradually restoring and extending over the years. However, our main passion in life is our horses and other animals. We are particularly fond of the native breeds from the south, which we own as our riding horses (clue to our site name). However, over the years we have rescued various horses and ponies, most of which we found new homes for. Only one has stayed as he is so special. The result being house restoration progresses very slowly so helpers volunteering here allow progress to happen a bit quicker.

We host helpers to help and learn with our many animals, building restoration and infrastructure development.
